Went in for the first time this morning. Bought a custard slice - out of this world. Good portion, lovely delicate flavour with sweet icing. I loved the fact that it was placed in a container so it didn't get stuck to a bag. The other cakes looked great too. A really nice little bakery, very friendly.

This has quickly become my favourite local independent bakery. Booked a collection for a custard slice cake, strawberry cheesecake, and jam & coconut tray bake. I got a little confused with the collection, and in hindsight, probably should have called to double check where I needed to collect from. Was told my collection was actually Pontypool, not Abergavenny. Cakes were boxed fresh when we arrived and we were also very kindly given 2 cupcakes as a goodwill gesture for the collection mixup. In addition to this, the cakes we received are beautiful in taste and appearance. I’m looking forward to making more orders for all future birthdays. 😊

The first time I bought a cake from you, and Wow, what a cake it was, the custard slice cake i received was for my partners 60th birthday and he's said it was the best custard slice he's ever eaten and everyone else who had a slice said the same. Il certainly be buying/ordering again from you.

What a fantastic little Bakery we have on the doorstep! We purchase many yummy products from this shop and every time you visit there are more new and exciting products to choose from. My favourite so far is the Custard Slice Cake which I ordered for mother's day as a gift. It came well packaged with a beautiful design with little pink heart shaped icing on the top and it was just absolutely delicious. It cut perfectly too, no mess - this was just a bonus! I was expecting this kind of cake to be messy but it wasn't. Well done guys and keep up the fantastic work. We love you.
