Postal Terms & Conditions

By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that O’Connell’s Bakery will not be held liable for:

- DELIVERY TIME; once it’s been shipped it's down to Royal Mail to deliver to you. If you haven’t received any tracking by Thursday, please check your spam folder. If you've not received anything from Royal Mail, please contact the shop on 01873 853885. You can message us through Facebook too but may not get a reply until the evening once the shop has closed. Unfortunately, Royal Mail will also be closed at the end of the day so we won’t be able to do much until the next working day. Their aim is next working day delivery but this is NOT a guaranteed service. Delivery time is completely out of our control as it's down to your local Royal Mail delivery depot to get it to you. Please do not order if you require immediate dispatch or you need it by a certain date. More info can be found on the Royal Mail website https://www.royalmail.com

- MISSED DELIVERY; you will have received full tracking via text/email (whichever you entered at checkout). It’s not our responsibility to rearrange missed deliveries. Please contact your local Sorting office if this is the case.

INCORRECT DETAILS; we will ship your items to the address you give. Please ensure these details are correct. We will not be held responsible for incorrect details - this is the customers responsibility. Only you know your correct address. No refunds will be given but you’re more than welcome to collect from the shop once we’ve received it. We will be in touch to inform you when it’s arrived.

- DENTS & BUMPS; HEAT:  sometimes, items may have misshapen due to the heat. We cannot predict the weather therefore it’s your choice to purchase goods knowing this and we accept no responsibility for any items that may have misshapen due to warm weather. Please do not attempt to open the individual packages containing your goodies. Pop the whole box straight in the fridge and wait for them to chill for an hour or 2. TRANSPORTATION: Minor bumps can occur but this will not affect your cake. If the seal is damaged on the internal packaging upon delivery, it will still be fresh and perfectly fine to eat.
